Wir freuen uns sehr über Besuch aus Nürnberg! Die Personen hinter swingomania kommen mit einer Menge an Unterrichts- und Tanzerfahrung und beschaffen uns unser erstes Mini-Festival! Natürlich passend zu unserem Namen Swing ’n‘ Blues.
Lindy Hop mit Stacy und Basti
Hinweis: Die beiden werden auf Englisch unterrichten, sprecht uns gerne vor Kursbeginn an falls du hier Unterstützung beim Übersetzen benötigst. Das bekommen wir hin. 🙂
Stacy (rechts) über sich: I started dancing Lindy Hop in the rainy city of Vancouver, Canada about a decade ago. The sound of jazz spoke to me from the moment I stepped on the dance floor for the first time and I never looked back! In 2020 I moved from Canada to Germany where I have been teaching and dancing ever since.
Basti (rechts) über sich: I started my dancing jouney doing Salsa and Bachata entering a rabbit hole of „What else is there?“. After that I explored different styles and dance cultures doing Tango Argentino and West Coast Swing which helped me a lot to find new ideas and concepts to leverage. On a (maybe rainy) day, I then received an email containing information about a „Lindy Hop“ class. At that moment I did not know that this was gonna be the deepest rabbit hole yet, in which I happily live in. What I love about Lindy Hop is its free creative approach to partner dancing and the fun in the center of it all making it something I have not found anywhere else before.

Dancing Lindy Hop and Blues for over a decade now, I see both dances as equal partners that just pair so well together. Travelling back and forth between the two, I like to transfer ideas from one dance to the other and see how they work out. What I like about Blues Dancing is its versatility in style and how I connect with my own body. It makes me feel more relaxed and chill – which is hopefully something Veronika and me will be able to explore with you!

Levelbeschreibung
Beginner Du tanzt im Lindy Hop die Grundschritte und erste Figuren. Du kommst von der offenen in die geschlossene Position und wieder zurück. Intermediate: Du fühlst Dich sowohl im 6-Count als auch im 8-Count und Lindy-Charleston mit den jeweiligen Grundfiguren sicher. Du kennst den Circle und Swing out und tanzt mit Freude beim Social Dance und hast Interesse diese zu erweitern und neue Variationen zu lernen.

Orientierungspreis Workshop für Nicht-Mitglieder: 16 € pro Workshop (Pay what you can). Vereinsmitglieder 10 €.
